Wiesbaden, March 7th 2018. Five automotive factories of a major German car producer were assessed by k3 mapa in an internal evaluation. The assessment reveals major disparities between the factories. The director operations manifests his complete satisfaction with the findings.
During the Q4 2017 and Q 1 a total of five automotive factories throughout Europe were assessed by k3 in order to reveal potential differences of the supply chain. Each factory assessment lasted two full days and consisted mainly of structured interviews, a factory tour and a standardised questionnaire, which was answered among a team of factory representatives and challenged by the consultants.
“We had done this exercise before with our internal colleagues and once with another consultancy. Still, I am surprised about the range of the new insights” resumes the director operations his complete satisfaction about the assessment. “If possible, next year we will also include our overseas factories in the assessment”.
